I was thinking recently about the future of securing mobile devices, this is also influenced by being robbed a few months ago and my laptop being stolen. Now thankfully my laptop is properly password protected, and it was wiped clean a few short months ago by a faulty hard-drive  but consider the wrong person gaining access to all of your saved passwords, old documents, photo’s or any other information people keep on their personal devices. It is a scary thought.

Something like a smart watch could be excellent for security, as it could be validate the unlocking of your iPhone, imagine a situation where you lose your phone, but because it is over a certain distance from the iWatch it will not unlock.

However, this could also work in reverse if your iWatch gets stolen your phone could become a brick, but at least in that situation you would…
